World Mental Health Day was celebrated at Mohmand International 200-bed Hospital Mr. Haji Muhammad Sadiq Mohmand, Chairman of Mohmand International 200-Bed Hospital, Deputy Directors of the hospital, Medical Director of the hospital, specialists of mental and neurological department, administrative personnel and specialists of different departments participated in the meeting held in this regard. In the meeting, the importance of this day was discussed and information related to the past achievements and new developments of the psychiatry department was presented. October 10th is International Mental Health Day, this day is celebrated in many countries, the purpose of celebrating this day is to raise awareness about mental health issues at the international level and to attract support for the improvement of mental health. Mental illness affects a person's professional and social life and causes disability. Along with genetic and biological factors, social problems (wars, migrations, displacement, poverty, lack of work and jobs, bad economic, injustice, discrimination, torture and domestic violence) are among the main causes of mental illnesses.
